Manzai fort, constructed during 1928, remained with Frontier Constabulary until it was handed over to Frontier Corps in 1943. However, it was returned to Frontier Constabulary in 1960 and played a significant role in performing anti-smuggling and anti-narcotics duty. FC Manzai has been actively engaged in War on Terror since 2004.
